I am a computer trying to defragment itself, getting to 7% and then restarting, and then to 19% and then restarting. 19% come so easily now, but it's 22% now and the process repeats. 42%. 74%.

You stop watching even though it was interesting at first, opting to go to the bathroom during the commercial, or to get a pack of smokes at the corner store, or to walk away entirely, knowing that the process does not need your guidance or intervention. 88%, restart the process, and suddenly it's 88% again. Nature knows best. Make some food. It's been a long day.

98%, and you wonder if your life will soon change, and if it will be better, more optimal, when it reaches 100%, or just different.

Probably no change at all, but everything will run slightly faster.
