2002-12-29 - 11:01 p.m.

2002 was a great year for the Boston sports scene. The Celtics and Bruins both made the playoffs (didn't follow their seasons, but I would have gotten into it had they made the big dance).

Oh, and then there's the Pats winning it all--possibly my best moment in Allston.

The Sox had a great start, and their typical June swoon.

I just watched my last Pats game of the season.

All I'll say is thank youPats. Thank you Sox.

Whenever I crave unblemished, virginal hope, I turn to you.

It was a good year for hoping like a twelve-year-old.
