I've coveted an iPod for two years now, and I got mine today. 40 gigabytes. I'm going to use it as a walkman and also to drive powered speakers (purchased for the same reason) in the living room, and most likely as an amateur recording device to jot music down. It's charging right now, and I have big plans. I got my name engraved on it.

Oddly enough, during the storied course of my life, I've used a cellphone less than five times.
