I think it more than I'll ever say it, but it�s absoultely amazing what a real songwriter can do with an economy of chords--a G, a C, a D, and an E minor. Bob Pollard can do it. Robyn Hitchcock can do it. Michael Penn needs way more chords to do it right. But Freedy Johnson doesn�t.

I�ve had a couple of his albums in my aresnal for a few years, but it�s really just hitting me now. This man is a songwriter.
